We're looking for a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Specialist to join Snap Inc! As a member of the Global Security team, You will implement Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), Fire & Life Safety, and Environmental Compliance programs. Working from our Odessa office in Ukraine, you'll collaborate with various teams, such as Security, Compliance, and Facilities, to implement programs that will help manage Snaps HSE risks in Europe.
What you'll do:
Implement HSE policies and programs in Ukraine / Europe
Ensure compliance with local, national and international-level HSE requirements
Perform risk assessments and comprehensive audits on HSE programs
Perform HSE functions across Snap facilities in Europe
Identify training requirements, develop content, and deliver training
Inspect workplaces for hazards and work with relevant organizations to correct those hazards
Track and report on key performance indicators related to HSE
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Technical expertise managing emergency planning, Fire & Life Safety, lab safety, indoor air quality, injury and illness prevention, and contractor safety
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with internal staff and external consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to accommodate tight deadlines and shifting priorities
A disciplined, driven mindset, capable of operating with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate effectively and drive consensus across all levels of the organization
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HSE focused discipline or equivalent years of experience
2+ years of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working for a multinational organization
Knowledge of English at an advanced level
Related professional certification
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
