Full-stack developer (Back-end focused)

We're thrilled to expand our team with an awesome, new member. This time, we're looking for an ambitious full stack developer (back-end focused) to join the Beetroot family and work with our client from Stockholm, Sweden.

You will be supporting one of the fastest-growing, tech-oriented e-commerce startups based in Stockholm, Sweden. With customers and sales all over the world, our client is looking for additional talent to expand the organization and push the online shopping boundaries. The company combines the latest technology with the most recent design trends to create a unique and popular product desired all over the world. They provide customers with the tools needed to design one-of-a-kind map posters, choosing from any place on the globe. 

As a full-stack developer, you will have the rare opportunity to work as a part of a multinational team of 20 people. We prefer a middle, self-driven developer who can analyze, identify, plan, and execute improvements on the required platform(s). The perfect candidate is someone who takes initiative and can manage himself/herself. In our collaboration model, you will work and communicate directly with the development team on the client's side.

Responsibilities:

• Helping design a new web-platform
• Participating on the product development team
• Evolving the product's architecture
• Researching and implementing new solutions

What we're looking for:

• 3+ years of experience with PHP and PHP frameworks
• Experience with Symfony/Laravel
• Knowledge of Vue.js and other JS frameworks
• Proficiency in MySQL and other databases
• GitHub/Jira
• Knowledge of Docker
• Strategic thinking and decision-making approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Nice level of English

Bonus:

• Experience with Shopware
• Expertise in creating web-products from scratch
