WordPress Team Lead

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Team Leader to join our incredible and awesome WordPress team. You will get a unique opportunity to build and manage a team of WordPress developers as well as a chance to improve your own technical skills while working on our wide variety of internal and external projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small-to-mid-sized development team
• Support and be responsible for professional development in the team
• Help to evaluate the project scope and requirements, make estimations of the projects, share the responsibility for delivery
• Provide the team with a vision of the project's objectives and deadlines
• Assist the developers with any issues that might arise
• Suggest improvements of processes and efficiency
• Report status and ensure the quality of delivery
• Create an environment oriented on trust, open communication, and cohesive team effort
• Be able to visit other offices if required

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in web development
• 3+ years of experience developing WordPress websites
• Semantic HTML and CSS with preprocessors, BEM
• Popular responsive front-end frameworks and component libraries (Bootstrap, Foundation etc.)
• Interactive UI/UX components built with JS/jQuery
• Experience with build automation and bundling tools (Grunt, Gulp or Webpack)
• Experience working with Advanced Custom Fields, Custom Post Type UI, Visual Composer, WPML and other popular WordPress plugins
• Essential knowledge of WordPress architecture and core API
• Experience with Bash
• Experience with version control systems (git, subversion, etc.)
• Transferring sites and databases (FTP/phpMyAdmin/SSH)
• Understanding of databases/MySQL
• Coordinating teams (preferably in IT), mentoring the team
• Extraordinary communication and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of English

Bonus

• Experience with PHP frameworks
• Experience with JS frameworks (ReactJS, Vue.js etc.)
• Experience of working with other CMS systems
• Basic VM or containers understanding
• Web design and working with Photoshop/Illustrator
• You love borsch!
