Data Analyst (financial background)

— Build predictive models for business planning and analysis;
— Recommends actions by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses;
— Analyse financial results and makes projections based on historical data;
— Develop business reports and dashboards;
— Ad-hoc analysis and reports;
— Present findings and recommendations, by creating visualisations of quantitative information;
— Conduct data-discovery for data-driven insights.

Essential professional experience:

— 3+ years of demonstrated data analysis experience;
— Strong knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, PL/SQL,MySQL);
— Visualisation data analysis/reporting using Tableau/Power BI or similar;
— Knowledge of ML (supervised, unsupervised, semi-supervised learning);
— Financial modeling experience;
— Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
— Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills;
— Effective written and verbal communication skills;
— Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable skills:

— Knowledge sharing ability;
— Experience with big data;
— Degree in applied math;
— Knowledge of Python/R (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, and others).
