Middle Python Developer

About us:

WePlay! makes eSports cool. If the word "eSports" in your head yelled the voice of "gambling, betting", calm down - this is not what we are doing. We create e-sports events, we have our own tournament platform, media and production. WePlay! Esports is the first esportainment-company that combines esports, storytelling, and entertainment content. We want to entertain esports fans and attract new ones by organizing esports online tournaments and LAN finals for professional teams since 2012.

About the role:

One of the projects you will work on is WePlay! Promo Events, part of the weplay.tv platform. This is a service for management data (matches and tournaments schedule, teams and players data) for our tournaments. Also, you will work with backend for twitch extension. The main part of your tasks will be the implementation and development of new functionality.

Technical Stack:

Python, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, ELK Stack, aiohttp, Rabbitmq, Django DRF, Flask.

As a project management tool we use Atlassian Stack (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence).

Our Candidate should:

• Understand the structure of data and algorithms;
• Understand and use the principles of the Python language;
• Have development experience using SQL;
• Understand how Django DRF and Django ORM works.

It will be a plus:

• Experience with big data;
• Experience with elasticsearch.
