Principal Pre-Sales Consulting Manager

We are looking for an experienced PrincipalPre-Sales Consulting Manager to participate in business development client meeting and develop proposals. As the senior role is further developed, going forward the Principal consultant will increasing be involved in product, solutions and consulting sales activities, help to qualify opportunities, close the deals and perform vital account management, customer facing functions.

 

Skills and qualifications:

 

  • 4+ years of experience developing proposals for Big Data and Data Science consulting projects in software and consulting companies
  • 3+ year of experience in development of comprehensive business proposals to sell enterprise products and solutions, ideally to the Banking and Insurance industry
  • Prefer a Master's degree in Computer Science, Math, Econometrics, MBA in Finance or related fields
  • Knowledge of software development process, modern BI, Big Data and AI/ML technologies, project management methodologies and current cloud architecture trends
  • Advanced English written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Superior time management and organizational skills
  • High on the job learning abilities and possess a self-starter personality
  • Knowledge of fintech, insurtech, lending, risk management, or finance would be a big plus

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Participate in solutions selling / prepare sales collateral and generate proposals
  • Build and maintain relationship with potential and current clients to assist in post-sales account management and business development activities
  • Work with engineering teams and other internal colleagues to capture and develop the best solutions approach as part of the proposal preparation process
  • Assist in handling customer negotiations, closing the deals and account management
  • You will be instrumental in the development of winning proposals for software/SaaS products/solutions/ Big Data / Data Science consulting services
  • Occasional travel to US, in support of business development activities, will be necessary
