Customer Support Engineer (distant)

Zoral, a leading provider of research and development to the software industry, is searching for Customer Support Engineer to join its development center in Kyiv.

Schedule: During Zoral out of hours (22:00 - 9:00 Kyiv time) and on holidays/weekends (distant).

Responsibilities:

• Being available on call and ready to work on incidents sent by customer;
• That person will also:
• Be helping (part time) the existing project development team with their development/QA/DevOps tasks (~4 hrs per day)
• And/or helping other projects with development or operation support activities.

Required skills:

• Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins;
• Hands on experience with: Docker, Git, Bash;
• SQL;
• Java Core;
• Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services would be a plus;
• Strong communication skills, written and spoken English;
• Responsiveness and discipline;
• Issues and incidents root cause analysis and resolution.
