Software Architect

NAKIVO is the only VM backup software solution to offer a unique set of cost-saving features. Now we are searching for a Software Architect, to extend our team. As a Software Architect, you are going to plan, develop, launch, and monitor quarterly product releases

Responsibilities:

• Define solution architecture aligned to business needs in collaboration with product and engineering.
• Create architectural in-depth documentation for product features and enhancements.
• Build software prototypes to validate architecture approaches.
• Provide thoughtful, actionable, and supportive feedback during code and design reviews.

Partner with Product Team to envision future features and product evolution plans

• Serve as a technology thought leader.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of development experience with C/C++/Java.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Software Architect.
• Experience designing a distributed software solutions.
• Experience in microservices architecture, modular software development, API design.
• Great communication skills with technical and non-technical people alike.
• Experience communicating and advocating for engineering with executives and Boards.
• Strong knowledge of Agile concepts and their implementation, a strong appreciation for devops mindset in engineering and a lean startup
• Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
