Leaf Blending Specialist (фахівець з питань використання тютюнової сировини)

Key responsibilities:

• Maintenance of blend portfolio in terms of agreed recipe, quality, cost, complexity and in line with departmental ISO processes
• Full scope planning activities
• Complexity and cost reduction initiatives
• Implementation, monitoring and analysis of agreed cost management initiatives for blends
• Stock management: availability and optimization actions.
• Monitoring and analysis of actual blend costs
• Leaf validation and Sensorial evaluation (by demand)
• Initiate and support development of Systems (CLaBS, PLM, etc.)
• Main contact for Factory, Supply Chain and PD in terms work order process
• Monitoring Daily blend demands
• Processing Blend work orders in line with BOP
• Support Sr.Blending Specialist in terms of blend analysis, new developments and maintenance (incl. MSE), trials, data collection or other relevant actions.
• Reporting: Actual blend cost, Analytical data, PQRS blend data or other reports on demand

Key requirements:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Engineering, Science, Economy or equivalent
• At least 3 years in the tobacco/food industry or in a manufacturing international company. Perhaps in the areas of production organization, planning, controlling, logistics
• Pronounced capabilities of teamwork and communication Experience in product design and manufacturing processes
• To be prepared to master excellent tobacco knowledge, Analytical thinking, advanced MS office (XLS as a must)
• Fluent English Intercultural awareness
• Interest in the production process and the study of technology. Ability and willingness to learn quickly and intensively (specific of tobacco industry). Analytical skills and attention to detail, positive attitude work with numbers (to calculations), diligence and honesty. Knowledge of statistical methods is an advantage.
