Project Manager

Role Purpose:

Initiate, define, plan, implement and manage projects with significant IS impact across Group Manufacturing & Supply Chain, ensuring they are delivered in quality, budget and time. Project Managers (Manufacturing and R&D Projects) are responsible for managing all resources including third parties and other key stakeholders such as sponsors and clients. Handover and close projects after successful implementation ensuring knowledge transfer, thorough documentation and clearly defined support models are in-place to facilitate efficient and smooth operation in the running business.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders, Business Project or Programme Managers, IS Business Partners to shape requirements into a project, whether as part of a broader business programme or as a standalone MSC initiative
• Support the development of project business cases and present the proposed project at forums and steering groups to engage senior stakeholders for approval
• Define the structure, scope, plan, and resources required to deliver the project. This includes necessary procurement processes
• Design and lead project governance and reporting, in line with Imperial Brands project management standards
• Drive project delivery to ensure the project meets time, cost and quality requirements
• Monitor and control execution of the project and maintain effective plans to ensure the project delivers the agreed outcomes
• Identification and support in managing dependencies with other projects
• Ensure all expenditure is properly controlled, monitored, forecasted and reported in accordance with financial processes
• Interface with business and other key stakeholders to report project status and manage any issues or changes
• Identify and resolve or escalate risks and issues
• Manage suppliers supporting project delivery
• Ensure that project delivery complies with regulations and company polices
• Actively seek out relevant lessons learned from other projects and close project with Post Implementation reviews to furthering own professional development
• Ensure project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored
• Ensure hand-over of the completed project deliverables and solutions to business functions.

Key Requirements

• University degree in either information technology, business, economics or equivalent
• At least three years project management experience within multinational manufacturing companies
• Experience and proven ability in managing the delivery of complex, cross-functional and cross-geography business projects
• Considerable experience in project management skills, methods and techniques (planning, scheduling, project control procedures, etc.)
• Can operate effectively in collaborative and directive business environment and able to develop broad cooperative relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders
• Strategic and tactical planning experience
• Self-motivated, independent and proactive with excellent analytical capabilities;
• Assertiveness and proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fluent English skills, native Ukrainian and Russian;
• Advanced PC user; MS Office, ERP systems.
