Accountant Job Duties (basic functions):

• Supervision and maintaining of financial/tax accounting in compliance with the legislation of Ukraine, as well as accounting policy of the company, tracking of regulatory changes in Ukraine
• Local statutory reporting:Preparation and filing of tax, accounting, statistical, financial statements of the company
• Tax reporting: VAT/Excise tax reporting supervising, Preparation answers to requests from tax authority related to VAT, CIT, excise, and statutory reporting
• Standard agreements review ad hoc
• Responsible for performing accounting evaluations (plausible checks) and postings.
• COGS: AP (local & ICO) transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting entries & reconciliation vendor's balances, reconciliation of strip stamps
• AR:Maintain AR billing system, generate invoices/goods receipts, follow up on and collect docs, reconciliation with the customer;
• T&E :checking all supporting documentation, posting, reimbursement, supervising all additional taxes calculation.
• Fixed Assets & LVA Module: acquisition, depreciation, write off
• Lease accounting: acquisition, depreciation, write off
• FX revaluation - reconciliation between GAAP and Ukrainian requirements and postings FX differences
• Coordinating proper documentation flow, ensuring all necessary documents are in place to fulfill the local tax and accounting requirements
• Making needed adjustments for US GAAP purposes
• Ad-hoc requests & support Chief Accountant
• Project management and execution:

T&E -taking part in a new project taking in-house T&E module Concur.

Must requirements

• Excellent knowledge of existing tax law & accounting rules
• Master's Degree in Accounting.
• With minimum 3-5 years' experience on Sr accountant position, preferably in foreign FMCG company
• Knowledge of SAP program, MEDoc software is must
