About the job

Your job is to ensure a high quality accounting & reporting in compliance with company's internal and local GAAP, and being a pro-active business partner who supports the relevant stakeholders in reaching their objectives.

About the assignment

You will be a part of the accounting & reporting team and you will:

• Maintain and secure the right level of quality of accounting and reporting as a base for business steering and compliance.
• Responsible for various types of reconciliations, analytical review, analysis and maintaining effective internal controls.
• Secure all relevant data is processed accurately, timely and according to the accounting framework.
• Contribute in working with Group and Country organisation to minimise deviations from standard global frameworks for local business needs and compliance reasons and secures effective ways of working. Participate in projects and support local execution (as part of these projects) to simplify, harmonise and automate financial operations and reporting.
• Be responsible for bank payments preparation and execution, bank statement posting and daily bank reconciliation, working with client-bank systems.
• Be in charge of the account payables accounting (foreign suppliers of materials and goods including posting of customs declarations on import, allocation of additional costs), posting and formation of inventory value in accordance with the principles of local accounting and IFRS, conducting all expense accruals and postings according to local, IFRS accounting principles and legislation rules.
• Perform IC reconciliations between counterparts (both account receivables and account payables).
• Participate in inventory stock counts, booking the stock count differences in the accounting system properly and in line with the local and corporate requirements and procedures.
• Be responsible for proper registration of incoming VAT (only related to import operations) and full scope of outcoming VAT invoices in M.e.doc and ERP system, VAT accounting (VAT obligations), issue and registration of VAT obligations related to sales (goods and services) participation in preparation of monthly VAT declaration.
• Be responsible for account receivables and sales (sales and cash reconciliation).
• Deliver accurate information for financial, tax and statutory reporting purposes.
• Participation on monthly and yearly closing in ERP system (IC reconciliations, bank reconciliations, stock reconciliations, provisions and accruals calculation and posting, tax reconciliations) and ensuring adherence with the monthly and yearly accounting reporting cycles.

Your profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in accounting & reporting;
• Retail experience will be an advantage;
• University degree (accounting / finance);
• Experience in working with a diverse team;
• Experience working with ERP systems will be a plus (Navision, SAP, other systems), 1C and M.e.doc;
• Ability to read and communicate in English;
• Good interpersonal skills and effective communication (both verbal and written);
