SQL Server Database Administrator / Developer

DB Best Technologies is searching for an SQL Server Database Administrator / Developer to become a part of our team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server;
• Deep knowledge and experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2014, 2016, 2017, Azure SQL Database administration;
• Knowledge and experience in Windows Server administration is a plus;
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure, AWS administration is a plus;
• Proficiency with high availability and disaster recovery technologies;
• Experience in performance tuning of SQL Server;
• Practical experience in database design and writing T-SQL code;
• Hands-on experience in developing PowerShell scripts;
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and MySQL is a plus;
• Upper-Intermediate level of English;
• Readiness to work in 24/7 schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and on-call hours.

Responsibilities:

• Proactive administrative duties;
• Recommendations for continuous improvement;
• Disaster recovery monitoring and management;
• System performance monitoring and system optimization;
• Research, test, and develop systems maintenance and upgrade plans for new technologies and versions;
• Cooperation with developers, systems administrators and other groups to implement various database-related tasks;
