Role description:


Datasine’s looking for a Product Designer to join the Product Team. Together with the Senior Product Designer you will take the product strategy and turn it into user flows, wireframes and prototypes to be tested with users to ensure they solve real problems. You will be responsible for gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with the product manager, developers and data scientists. 


You will be expected to utilize the full range of product design, interaction design, and visual design skills. 


This is a full-time position based in our London office (currently remote due to C-19). 


As half of our team is currently based outside of London, we also welcome remote-only applicants from other locations outside of London.


Who you are 


  • You have at least 2 years of experience in UX/UI and have a strong understanding of usability and user experience principles 
  • You are skilled at both interaction and visual design; bonus skills include prototyping 
  • You have an analytical and technical mindset
  • You take calculated risks: you are comfortable with designing to learn and unafraid of making mistakes
  • You have good communication skills to help set up frameworks and brainstorm initial design concepts
  • You have an online portfolio or PDF that you can share with us. 

Ideal Candidate


  • You have experience working with Figma
  • You have startup experience and knowledge of lean processes
  • You have experience working on live products 
  • You have experience developing a B2B SaaS product
  • You have an invested interest in AI and Marketing Technology


 Core Responsibilities


  • Conduct extensive product research.
  • Lead and take part in user research sessions.
  • Map all possible scenarios and create product flows.
  • Take charge of functional design and create wireframes, from rough sketches to prototypes.
  • Design UI of the platform and own design system.
  • Conduct a full design cycle from collecting inspiration through creating a pixel-perfect UI for all states and scenarios, and deliver to development.
  • Analyze data and conduct usability sessions with real users.
  • Partner with PMs, engineers, researchers to oversee the UX of a product from concept to launch
  • Modify and revise existing designs to meet customer needs
