C++ Embedded Software Engineer

We are looking for C++ Embedded Software Engineer to develop embedded software solutions on industrial applications, related to control and conversion of electric power. This can be a focus on a specific part (converter, inverter), unit (the wind turbine itself) or the complete solution (controlling substations/wind power plants).

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

Your background – need to have: 

• 3+ years of experience, preferably within R&D  

• BSEE or MSc within engineering, could be specialized within software or other relevant area 

• Expert level coding in C++ (ver. 11 or higher)

• Upper intermediate level written and spoken English 

Would be a plus:

• Object oriented & state-based software design lying on GRASP, SOLID principles.  
• SW development for Linux operating system
• Real time embedded systems and control software
• Scripting languages Ruby/Python/Bash
• Experience in working with MATLAB/Simulink 

While performing your tasks as an Embedded Software Engineer you will be closely cooperating with the other Engineering departments (Power System Engineers and Mechanical Engineers).

Your tasks include:  

• Code development - maturing existing technologies and developing new products.

• Completing full software development lifecycle, including debugging, testing (unit tests, CI/CD), validation and code reviews

• Use and administration of GitHub.

• Agile software development using SCRUM methodology.  

• Project planning by means of Jira.
