Are you a born problem-solver seeking a challenging job in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a motivated logistics coordinator to join our team and provide creative and efficient transportation solutions for internal and external customers. You will get the chance to work with numerous departments as well as multiple clients and carriers, ensuring that all shipments get delivered on time in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible. Responsibilities:  

  • Perform freight services according to company and government regulations.
  • Plan and coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules. 
  • Work with Shippers, Carriers and Dispatchers to manage the schedules. 
  • Track and report shipment status to customers. 
  • Manage multiple deliveries, process spot requests and develop new sales strategies to improve business.
  • Resolve freight discrepancies in a timely manner. 
  • Respond to customer concerns and queries professionally. 
  • Maintain positive and productive relationships with customers. 
  • Identify and contact qualified carriers for freight services. 
  • Negotiate contract and pricing agreements with carriers.

Working conditions: 

  • Healthy work environment
  • New comfortable office in the downtown with coffee and cookies
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 2PM-12AM. Ones a month on Saturday or Sunday from 4PM till 12AM.
  • All required equipment will be provided
  • Contract Independent Contractor Agreement

Requirements:

  • Intermediate to advanced levels in English in order to communicate with customers, both written and verbally. 
  • Organized individual; ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and carriers and must be able to work under pressure while maintaining an upbeat and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to follow procedures and instructions.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision; strong initiative.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
