POSITION DESCRIPTION

Our client is an American chain of luxury department stores, also operating in Canada and headquartered in Seattle, Washington. Founded in 1901, the company began as a shoe retailer and expanded its inventory to include clothing, accessories, handbags, jewelry, cosmetics, and fragrances. The company also has in-house cafes, restaurants, and espresso bars. It is a fashion specialty retailer founded on a simple idea: offer each customer the best possible service, quality, value, and selection.

The project is the customer’s Store Merchandising and Restocking Tool. The system identifies when products need to be restocked in a store and moves them from the warehouse.

We are searching for a Front-End Engineer capable of driving the development of the UI, estimation, and planning, including communication with the client, prototyping, and analyzing the needs of the client. The candidate should be proactive and propose solutions according to best UI/UX practices.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years’ software development
• Confident production experience in ReactJS (mandatory, new application is being developed using React) 
• In-depth expertise in HTML/CSS
• Proficiency in JS core, ECMAScript 6
• Confident knowledge of TypeScript
• Hands-on experience in RxJS
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Intermediate or higher English level (B1+), both written and spoken
