Senior L&D Specialist (Courses Content Creator)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interview Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify the learning needs of the target audience.
• Set learning objectives and learning goals appropriate to learner and program needs.
• Select, modify, and create compelling content aligned to learning objectives and modality.
• Create engaging interactive learning activities that enhance the learning process.
• Conceptualize storyboards and work with graphic designers and multimedia developers to create effective instructional assets (e.g., infographics, animations and video, e-learning interactives).
• Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product.
• Develop a comprehensive assessment to measure the effectiveness of element, module, or course.
• Maintain project documentation and course folders.
• Work collaboratively and communicate regularly with SMEs and colleagues during the development process.
• Apply adult learning principles and best practices in instructional design to all activities.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams to leverage internal tools and resources.

WHAT YOU SHOULD IDEALLY BUT NOT NECESSARILY HAVE

• Instructional design experience.
• Experience using authoring tools, such as Captivate, Storyline, iSpring, or Evolve to create sophisticated adaptive learning content.
• Knowledge of instructional design methodologies including but not limited to: ADDIE model, SAM, backward design, etc.
• Knowledge of assessing learning and program impact.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and multimedia principles.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Excellent written and verbal English skills (C1+).
• Experience in teaching, copywriting, or a relevant field (if there's no instructional design experience).
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, work independently, and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to build rapport and instill trust and confidence.
• Good eye for visual design.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a team with highly-skilled and engaged colleagues.
• Passion, energy, a positive mindset, and a 'can-do' attitude.
• Resilience and ability to work under time pressure, manage workload, and priorities.
