Java Backend Developer

We are an outstaff company and currently we are looking for a Java Backend Developer for our client's project

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing a new SaaS backend platform aiming to manage universal agronomic scientific research.
• Take full responsibility and ownership from conception, development, quality to post-deployment.
• Initiate and promote new ideas for continuous improvement of the product functionality and infrastructure.
• Explore new technologies and tools to keep us on the cutting edge.

Must have

• 3+ years of experience in Java development.
• Experience in Java 8/11+, Spring, Maven and related frameworks.
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and software engineering principles.
• Deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience and understanding of TDD methodology.
• Familiarity with git and gitOps.
• Experience with relational DBs and data modeling.
• Experience with Linux-based environments.
• Team player, highly motivated, can-do approach.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Good to have

• Familiarity with no-sql for example - MongoDB, Redis.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with AWS environment.
• Familiarity with Cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes & CI/CD.
• Experience in working in an agile/scrum team.
