About the job

We are looking for a Director of Communication Unit within Be—it Health & Social Impact agency who will provide overall staff leadership, sound strategic counsel and direction to current clients, leveraging growth opportunities through organic account growth and proactive development of new clients, ensuring excellence in business processes and nurturing a long-lasting and outstanding reputation for the agency. The Communication Unit Director will work closely with Managing Partner of the agency.

The focus of the agency is healthcare topics that include public health, disease management and the overall wellbeing of people. Our key competencies are – public awareness campaigns, disease awareness campaigns, advocacy programs and reputation management.

General requirements:

• Daily operational leadership of the business unit
• Excellence of product and user experience
• Excellence of HR – creating a happy productive team atmosphere, retaining and attracting senior talent in critical areas for business, developing successors
• Focus on creating big meaningful profitable stories with and in cooperation with clients, driving long-term innovation and reputation of the business unit and group of companies 
• Focus on integrated campaigns that are a major part of the agency revenue
• Day to day management of all clients within the project managers

What you will be doing:

• Facilitate the development of high-level effective and credible communications strategies addressing clients’ key business objectives and driving reality-changing meaningful stories
• Maintain excellent relations with key media, relevant NGOs and international organizations, experts and analysts to benefit the business of our clients and prominent positioning of Be—it Health & Social Impact 
• Deliver strategic counsel and maintain partner relationships at the CEO/senior executive level with clients and partners of Be—it Health & Social Impact. Ensure client satisfaction on all clients.
• Drive organic growth and new business development for the business unit
• Participate in the development of the annual business plan and budget. Manage profit and loss of the accounts, staffing requirements, financial forecasts and budgets of the agency.
• Provide positive mindset and leadership, direction, and guidance to the business unit team.
• Continuously build and work as one of the leading members of the senior management team of the market to further the company’s mission, goals, philosophy and culture.

What we look for:

• 6+ years of experience in one of the following fields: communications public sector, international organizations, communication agencies
• Experience with PR, digital, media tools
• Outstanding client service skills
• People leadership skills (team mentoring and management)
• Fluent Ukrainian and English 
• Proactive, flexible and willing to learn
• Optimistic, with a positive attitude
• Experience of working with healthcare companies, medical networks, international organizations will be an advantage.
