With full training you will be expected to develop authentic learning materials and will be involved into co-writing books for the world's biggest educational company - Pearson. You'll be promoting innovative methods of working with authentic English language materials and modern technology developed exclusively for the Ukrainian market.

Whilst based in Kyiv you will have the opportunity to travel regularly both within Ukraine and abroad.

The successful candidate will:

• BE REQUIRED to have at least a minimum of two years' classroom experience in either the state or private language school sector.
• have experience in developing learning materials
• possess a verifiable C1 level of English Language with knowledge and experience in using modern English language teaching materials (International certification welcome). Preference will be shown to candidates who also have got international certificates (TKT, CELTA, DELTA, etc.), a PhD would also be a plus
• have experience in writing and formatting articles
• have the understanding of the copyright and ethical norms
• be punctual, responsible, attentive to details, self-organized, goal-oriented

Responsibilities

Your main task would be to develop (create) the best learning resources.

You are expected to

• write from scratch a resource for learning English in secondary school under a guidance of the editor-in-chief, according to the developed plan
• develop authentic, original resources for learning English
• think of new ways of implementing methodological concepts in written materials
• choose media for your course (images, graphs, etc.)
• edit your own texts according to editor's requirements
• constantly collaborate with designers and marketing department

The position is full time with a fixed salary, paid holiday, medical insurance and travel allowances.

Working hours - Mn-Fr, 9.00-18.00

Our office is near Pechersk metro station
