Higher Education Product Manager

Objectives

The Higher Education Product Manager is responsible for the design of university official programs and recommendations that guarantee quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area, material selection, promoting innovative methods of using authentic materials, modern technology and international exams, developing business within the 'Higher Education sales channel'. He/She is responsible for increasing sales opportunities and thereby maximizing revenue for Dinternal Education by finding potential new customers, presenting Pearson products (e.g. books, technology and exams) and growing our customer base. He/She also manages and develops the sales and satisfaction of existing clients. As such, the HEPM is responsible for building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, solving problems and negotiating and closing agreements. He/She will take all necessary steps to create a positive attitude towards the brand of Pearson among clients and increase the company's brand awareness in the overall market.

Job content

• You will be involved in the design of university official programs and recommendations that guarantee quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area
• promoting innovative methods of using authentic materials, modern technology and international exams
• Attend events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market trends
• Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels
• Build good relations with customers, develop new clients, maintain existing clients and increase sales in each institution in the sector
• Promote the benefits of the PEARSON product and help ensure a loyal attitude towards it
• Ongoing updates of the client database
• Plan, together with the appropriate line manager(s), approaches and pitches
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
• Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate
• Keep accurate records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
• Provide information about results of the visits and sales reports
