Academic Consultant for authentic ELT materials

Based in our office in Kiev

Salary: 18,000 UAH per month full time

Do you have a background in English language teaching? Are you looking for the next step in your career? As one of Dinternal Education's expanding team of Ukrainian and British academic consultants, you'll be delivering a range of ELT seminars, workshops, demonstration lessons and consultations to teachers, students and parents. Largely based in Kiev and the surrounding oblasts, flexibility is important as you'll also be travelling around the country as needed. You'll be promoting innovative methods of working with authentic materials and modern technology. You'll also be part of the team working on Ukraine-specific course materials such as the new edition of Fly High Ukraine in primary, the Across Ukraine series for secondary students and our ZNO preparation titles. Joining an international workplace with British management gives you opportunities to travel abroad for training and development.

As the exclusive country partner for Pearson, we work all over Ukraine with governmental, local education and corporate partners. The successful candidate will therefore need a minimum of two years' classroom experience in either the state or private language school sector, a minimum C1 level of English proficiency, an up-to-date knowledge of ELT literature and methodology, and preferably an international teaching qualification such as TKT, CELTA, DELTA or an MA TESOL. We particularly welcome candidates who can drive and who have experience working in the state teaching sector at primary, secondary or university level.
