The opportunity:

Climate Change and Sustainability Services division helps corporate clients understand the risks and opportunities arising from climate change and sustainability issues. We work with the largest companies in Ukraine and other countries that belong to various sectors of the economy. Our task is to help businesses and governmental institutions solve complex problems at the intersection of economic, environmental, and social aspects, to make their activities transparent, responsible while remaining profitable and efficient.

As a part of the team you will be able to participate in projects related to non-financial reporting, ESG strategy and ratings, climate change governance, implementation of ESG in day-by-day activity of the business etc. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• taking responsibility for the particular stream of the project
• clients interview – Q&A, collect the information to structure of the problems, find the proper informational sources and ways for the further data analysis
• conducting information research (business model, peers analysis, case studies, regulations and legislation, corporate reporting etc);
• analysis of key client documents, including corporate reporting, policies, standards, and procedures in the areas of operations, corporate governance, HR, HSE;
• data and scenario analysis, based on publicly available information and client’s data;
• outcomes visualization, preparing presentations for clients;
• preparation of public corporate reports of clients;
• preparation of analytical materials and recommendations for clients;

Qualifications:

• master degree in economics, finance; environmental science;
• 2-3 years of experience in climate related matters: GHG emission calculation, analysis of climate change risks and opportunities, climate governance, climate change mitigation and adaptation, decarbonization plans and strategies, carbon regulation and policy;
• strong motivation to work in sustainability and build a career in corporate sector;
• advanced command of English (orally and in writing);
• work experience in international organization and/or projects will be an advantage;
• experience in preparing public reports of companies (annual, non-financial, environmental, PR products, reviews, and research) will be an advantage.
