At our IT company, we understand that the first period at a new workplace can be difficult. As you probably already know, most of our team works remotely, from different parts of the world, so it is extremely important to organize our digital workspace efficiently. We want to tell you a little bit about how we do it: We have our own online-office, where each team member has their own cabinet. Why do we need it? To automate processes as much as possible😌 Just imagine: you need to take a vacation or be on sick leave. Instead of scheduling a call with your manager and making arrangements, you simply log into your virtual office and submit a request in a few clicks. And there you have it - your vacation or sick leave is approved. This way we save a lot of time for employees and especially managers👨🏻💻 It's a real challenge to set up communication in a large team, so we created an online company structure where you can find any employee, their department, and contact data in a minute. When employees have a work-related question, they can quickly find a specialist who will help to find the answear or solve problemes. This makes interaction between our colleagues much faster and easier🤝 We also have our own cloud, which is an archive for storing our work documentations for all 10 years of the team's existence. We had an interesting conversation with one of our HRs - Anastasiia Kolesnikova 🇺🇦 about the qualities that matter most when it comes to team selection and would like to share some insights with you😌 Of course, when hiring a new person to the company, the appropriate Hard Skills for a particular position are important, but we should not forget about Soft Skills, which play an equally important role in the work. Adaptability, flexibility, responsibility, good communication skills and teamwork are all essential, especially in the remote working mode, when a person needs to be able to organize some work processes on his/her own. We believe that the secret to a strong team is good communication between departments. It's like a bridge that is built brick by brick, but if any part is missing, the bridge won't work.
