Biosphere Corporation has become a finalist in the "Partnership for Sustainable Development 2023" competition in the "Warriors of Light" category. Partnership for Sustainability Award is an annual international campaign in which the UN Global Compact Network Ukraine recognizes the best projects implemented in partnership between business, government, and civil society to achieve the SDGs. An international jury selected the winners. Among the participants of this year's competition were representatives of Ukraine, Great Britain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Croatia, Poland, Georgia, Romania, Bulgaria, and Turkey. In total, 160 cases were submitted for the competition. This year, the awards were given to projects aimed at supporting Ukraine during the full-scale invasion, as well as other best practices in sustainable development that can serve as examples for future recovery. For the jury's consideration, Biosphere Corporation presented our special product designed for both military and civilian use – "Clean Victory" wet wipes. Understanding all the challenges of today's life, this product was specifically created for use in extreme conditions where access to water is limited. The first batch of wet wipes was entirely allocated for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian Railways, and volunteers. We are grateful to the UN Global Compact Network Ukraine for recognizing our work and achievements. We also extend our sincere congratulations to the other competition winners for their exceptional efforts towards sustainable development and peace. Together, we are shaping a world where each step brings positive change.

Global challenges require global solutions and changes! Last week in the USA, a series of high-level events took place within the UN General Assembly. Andriy Zdesenko, the founder and CEO of Biosphere Corporation, had the honor of participating in the Private Sector Forum and the Global Compact Leaders' Summit. These events brought together influential leaders from around the world, including the Prime Minister of Denmark, the President of Botswana, the UN Secretary-General, heads of the world's largest companies, and many others. Climate change, access to clean water, environmental pollution, and the role of the private sector in addressing them, as well as cooperation between businesses and governments, were discussed on the events. Andriy Zdesenko shared with participants the experience of Biosphere Corporation in developing waste recycling and circular economy in Ukraine, as well as promoting a culture of responsible waste management and supporting eco-initiatives. The corporation's CEO emphasized the importance of cooperation between the private sector and the government and called on businesses to actively implement changes and new technologies. In June 2023, Biosphere Corporation became a member of the UN Global Compact in Ukraine, and on September 18, we became the first representatives of Ukrainian business to participate in the Private Sector Forum. We take pride in being part of such important global events and contributing to achieving sustainable development goals. Together, we can make the world a better place!

🏆According to Forbes Ukraine, Biosphere Corporation has made it into the top 25 best employers for veterans. This is a great honor and recognition, as our team began preparing to welcome veterans last year. ✅ In particular, in partnership with Veteran Hub, we have developed a comprehensive program for the reintegration and adaptation of our heroes. This program includes a roadmap for veterans within the corporation, a series of workshops and training sessions for teams and managers, as well as systemic medical, psychological, and legal assistance. Several of our colleagues have already returned to our teams from the war, and we have our first successful stories of implementing this program. 🙏🏻 We are grateful to the Forbes Ukraine editorial team and warmly congratulate the HR team at Biosphere for their significant efforts in developing this program. 💪🇺🇦 We continue to create and implement the best HR practices, and, of course, eagerly await Ukraine's victory and the return of every veteran home and to work as soon as possible!

+9 new countries of presence, +1 brand to the corporation's product portfolio, +1 plant in Europe and own network of European branches. Biosphere Corporation did all this in just one year, thanks to the successful M&A acquisition of the well-known Austrian brand Alufix and European assets. How and why did Biosphere Corporation enter new foreign markets during the full-scale war in Ukraine? What challenges did we face, and how did we manage it? Yuriy Golianych, General Manager Household, Recycling and International Business at Biosphere Corporation, talked about these and much more at the 16th Ukrainian Marketing Forum. The event brought together more than 45 speakers and 500+ online and offline participants. Business development in such difficult times is a real challenge. And entering new foreign markets is a twice tricky challenge. Nevertheless, Ukrainian companies have the courage and perseverance to move forward, overcome all obstacles and reach new heights. Yuriy told the participants about how Biosphere found a way to reach new European consumers, why the well-known Austrian trademark Alufix was acquired, and what plans the corporation has for its future development. We are proud of the achievements of the Biosphere’s team, which, thanks to its strategic wisdom and dynamic response to all crisis circumstances and conditions, managed to find a way to new markets. We continue to develop and popularize products made in Ukraine worldwide. We believe that our success is the success of Ukraine.
