1986

The Beginning of great adventure.Ubisoft® is created in Brittany, France.

1987

Big step forward.Zombi, the first game developed by Ubisoft® on Amstrad CPC, is launched.

1995

A legend is born.Rayman®, a hero without arms or legs, becomes a video game icon.

2002

Sam Fisher® emerges from the shadows.Following the acquisition of Red Storm®, the launch of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell® is a huge success. All European stocks are sold in less than 24 hours.

2003

Rewind ! With the release of Prince of Persia®: The Sands of Time, the Prince joins the ranks of Ubisoft’s most emblematic characters.

2006

Always on the cutting edge.Ubisoft embraces a new gen of consoles with Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter® on Xbox 360, which wins the BAFTA for “Game of the year”.

Bwaaaaaaaah ! The Rabbids’ invasion begins on Wii™ with the release of Rayman Raving Rabbids®.

2007

A jaumey through space and lime.Assassin’s Creed® is release on Playstation®3 and Xbox 360, making Ubisoft the world’s third largest independent game publisher outside Japan.

2009

May the best player win !With the acquisition of Nadeo®, Ubisoft takes its first steps into the eSport market reaffirming its positioning in online gaming.

Burn, hahy, burn.The first Just Dance® is release on Wii; today it’s the world’s #1 dance game.

2011

Lights, camera, action !Ubisoft Motion Pictures is created to adapt Ubisoft’s game worlds to TV and cinema.

2012

An explosive cocktail.Ubisoft makes a splash by combining the release of new games based on iconic brands like Assassin’s Creed III and FarCry® 3 with the release of games exclusively for mobile platforms, such as Rayman Jungle Run and Nutty Fluflies®. The Wet’tch_DogsTM announcement takes the industry by surprise at E3 giving audiences a unique glimpse of the next—gen experience.
