Responsibilities
Pre-sales
- Assist in all phases of the pre-sales process
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert of Netcracker products & solutions
- Work with multiple Account Executives to support opportunity qualification process
- Prepare technical part of response to RFx
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert of Netcracker products & solutions
- Drive Technical, Management and Executive Meetings
- Solution presentation creation and delivery
- Gather and define technical and functional requirements from customers
- Assist account teams in ensuring customer satisfaction
- Participate in preparation of product demonstrations, including specification, testing, and delivery
- Travel to customer sites worldwide
Solution Management
- Managing product requirements and roadmap
- Creation of pre-sales and marketing materials
- Collaboration with multiple teams, from Engineering to Product Marketing, SDO, Sales, etc
- Collecting, interpreting and prioritizing customer, market and internally-driven requirements
Qualifications
- At least 5 years' experience in Telco, SI or Software company in one or more of the following areas
- Software development & sales support
- Implementation of software products
- Product lifecycle management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Deep understanding in one or more domains
- Virtualization and cloud technologies: KVM/OpenStack, VMWare. AWS, XaaS, VM/service lifecycle management, service catalogues, portals, etc
- Standards and solutions for OSS / BSS
- Major industry standards: eTOM, SID, TAM, ITIL, OSS/j, MTOSI, etc
- Some IT and/or software development experience in one or more of the following areas: mission-critical applications, network management systems, Operations Support Systems, general large-scale system architecture, large-scale databases
- Knowledge of the global telecommunications market and the main trends in IT
- Knowledge of software implementation methodologies and interaction between different teams of the customer and vendor: Agile, DevOps, etc
- Strong technical abilities to hold your own in debates with technical architects and engineers
- Gathering and transforming business requirements and market needs into a successful product strategy
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Experience presenting to executive leadership and handling sensitive customer situations
- Ability to lead and work autonomously
- Willingness to travel
- Fluent English
