English Teacher (for IT-company)

Netcracker Technology Corp., a large software development company and one of the world's most respected TOMS Solutions (Telecommunications Operations and Management Solutions) companies, has an opening for English Teacher

Work details:

• 18 - 24 teaching hours weekly (1 hour = 60 min)

• Teaching in groups (6 people max) twice a week, for 90 minutes each lesson

• Lessons are conducted on a regular basis on weekdays during working hours

Qualification:

• MA or Specialist Degree in English linguistics

• High proficiency in English (i.e. full mastery of English across all 4 skills equivalent to a proficient user (CEFR C2) or IELTS Band 8/9 in each of 4 sections of the academic module

• At least 3 years' relevant experience in teaching General and Business English to groups of adult working learners

• Experience in using modern approaches and methods of effective foreign languages teaching with a concentration on the communicative approach

• Previous experience of teaching in the IT area is a distinct advantage

• Successful completion of the training course for teachers(Cambridge CELTA/Trinity cert TESOL)

• Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Outlook) confident user

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality English language teaching that meets the needs of our company and employees taking into account individual learning styles

• Provide English classes to groups of different levels (from Beginner to Advanced)

• Develop course content and update teaching materials

• Develop and search for new tasks and solutions for improving the communication skills of learners

• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to help manage students' performance throughout the course, and actively promote learner autonomy

• Report the information about groups' results to the Group Training Manager

• Conducting English speaking and writing assessment, following the standard Netcracker assessment procedure and using shared materials

• Contributing to the Company's workflow (attendance registers, students' progress reports, group lists, etc.)

• Corresponding with students and colleagues on educational and administrative issues
