IP/OSS Engineer

One of the leading telecom vendors ZTE Ukraine is looking for a IP/OSS Engineer for maintenance project in Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• IP routers commissioning, maintenance 

• IP routers data configuration

• Alarm monitoring and clean-up

• Provide engineering services for hardware and software installation of IP routers, commissioning, integration and data configuration, alarm clean-up and testing.

• Providing support to customer by processing requests. Root cause analysis of issues with SLA period;

• Operation on existing OSS servers including software upgrades, fault detection, alarm clean up.

• Network Maintenance System health check, Follow standard operation procedure, output the report quarterly;

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of technology: Ethernet switching, LAG; STP; IP-routing protocols including BGP, OSPF; HRSP, balancing IP-traffic, building fault-tolerant network and server solutions; MPLS VPN, VPLS; management and monitoring networks

• Experience with equipment Juniper/Cisco/Huawei/HP

• Understanding the principles of corporate networks

• Basic knowledge of IPSEC

• Practical experience with ACL, QoS, 802.1q in corporate networks, access networks and carrier backbone

• Understanding the purpose and principles of network services (DNS, DHCP, etc.)

• Knowledge of Linux at user level is an advantage for the candidate; Accuracy in the performance of installation and configuration work

• The ability to prepare technical specs and solutions along with documentation of the results

• Necessary personal qualities: Highly organized, systematic thinking, perseverance, focus on results. Ability to prioritize, plan their time to work on their own

• Intermediate English
