Deputy Chief Accountant

Our client, a well-established international power generation company is looking for candidates to fill the position of Deputy Chief Accountant.

Job Description:

• Assist the Chief Accountant in the preparation of UAS and IFRS financial statements

• Assist the Chief Accountant in in the periodic reporting to lenders and the parent company

• Data entry of into 1C and SAGE accounting software (SAGE is expected to be learned within the first months of employment)

• Accounts settlements with customers, payments through online banking systems to suppliers

• Correspondence with banks, government entities, and other external parties

• Support the Chief Accountant in his/her duties

• Performance of Chief Accountant duties during his/her absence

• Additional assignments as required

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in accounting

• At least 5 years of accounting experience

• Working knowledge of English
• Working knowledge of 1C

• Experience in Ukrainian and IFRS reporting, UAS to IFRS transformation, IFRS audit

• Understanding of Ukrainian taxation.

Considered as a plus:

• Strong preference for ACCA or a similar qualification completed or in progress
• Big 4 audit experience and or experience of working for a foreign company is a plus
• Knowledge of other accounting software.
