YOU ARE

To the best of your advantage, you should possess

• Understanding of various software development lifecycles (Agile, etc) and contemporary software quality assurance processes
• A concept of product differences to be tested and the product quality monitoring and approaches to its development
• Full understanding of QA process
• Experience with Java, Selenium Web Driver, RestAPI, Jenkins
• Knowledge of Web development concepts (including HTML, JavaScript, DOM, XML)
• A concept of different types of applications (Web UI, Desktop UI, Command-line, Web services), automated testing approaches and tools which can be used for them
• Expertise in automation tools, techniques, and environments for the automation framework creation, automation scriptwriting, and test execution, and the ability to configure them
• Ability to prepare automation test design according to the defined test approach, to guarantee full coverage of the product specifications and requirements
• Capability of performing defect analysis, preparing detailed and helpful defect reports with expected results for resolving defects, and performing impact analysis to cover the defect's possible influence on a product
• Sufficient experience in diagnosing, reporting, tracking, and resolving quality issues
• Intermediate Strong English level or higher

YOU WANT TO WORK WITH

• Refactoring of automation test framework modules in the scope of defined architecture
• Planning the automation test framework components' refactoring according to the product automated testing roadmap and the recognized issues
• Definition and selection of possible product areas for test automation
• Applying coding practices for optimizing code in order to minimize the resources' footprint, improve the code performance, and keep its maintainability good
• Providing code inspections by reviewing the code of others and providing valuable and comprehensive feedback to the code developer. Selection and using code review and static code analysis tools. Gathering and analyzing different metrics of the software product, like code coverage, performance, etc.
• Determination of the scope, strategy, approach, resources, test types, and items that can be applicable and effective for the particular project and schedule of quality control on projects

• Analyze and understand the client business area
• Properly analyze and evaluate the clients' requirements and demands in the project initial phase with the minimum of the project-related information available
• Participate in developing quality standards
• Develop AQA metrics for measuring the individual and team performance
• Monitor and measure performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports. Evaluate the success of the AQA processes and improves it on the basis of the gathered metrics
