WE ARE
Cross Cultural Communication Center is a subdivision of SoftServe University responsible for providing high-quality learning solutions of various formats for developing foreign language communication skills and cross-cultural competencies. We are currently looking for a Manager to lead, grow and supervise 4Cs Team which consists of Language School and Communication Experts team to meet strategic and tactical goals set by the company. Own SSU 4Cs structure and manage its budget, processes, tools and best practices.
YOU ARE
- A holder of Master's degree or above/ degree in translation studies or foreign language teaching (desirable)
- Having Business & management education (Desirable)
- A proven communicator/presenter
- Experienced with managerial positions, at least for 3 years
- Familiar with educational area, at least for 2 years (desirable)
- Understanding cross-cultural communication and general management
- Having a concept of SoftServe internal functioning
- Expert in intercultural communication
- Good at training methodology
- Demonstrating excellent presentation skills
- Showing excellent team management skills (setting clear objectives, goals and managing priorities)
- Self-manageable and self-confident, well self-organized and detail-oriented
- Able to handle multi-tasking activities
- Initiative and pro-active, flexible
- Client-oriented
- Good at leadership and teambuilding
YOU WANT TO WORK WITH
- Maintaining and continuously improving 4Cs offer (courses, trainings, educational events, etc.) to meet the needs of company in developing intercultural communicative skills
- Close cooperation with Language School (LS) Manager and LS Competence Manager maintaining and continuously improving set of processes and practices established
- Close collaboration with Communication Experts Team making sure the experts have all the needed skills, information and resources to work directly with Delivery in the area of intercultural communication
- Developing Competence Model for Communication Experts to provide them the opportunity to develop their skills and grow professionally
- Strong relationship with LS Administration making sure all the processes and communication channels are designed properly and function effectively supporting and helping the users
- Regular communication with Functional Offices, HRBP and Delivery to define training needs, requirements to learning solutions in the area of cross-cultural communication
- Ensuring that all positions have effective C in Cornerstone LMS enabling their further professional growth
- Cooperating with SSU Center of Excellence to define and use the best SSU practices
- Monitoring/supporting 4Cs operational activities and catch new 'best practice' approaches that may be introduced into 4Cs operational model
- SSU CoE continuously improving tools (group enrollment, training progress tracking, payment for LS services, students notification, etc.) and approaches 4Cs members use to perform their job
- Establishing a knowledge-sharing methodology and implement skills' improvement based on lessons learned
- Identifying and working with team OKRs and reporting their status to AVP Learning & Development on a scheduled basis
- Maintaining metrics for measuring the effectiveness of 4Cs activities and contribution into professional development of SoftServe employees
- Identifying and growing new competencies within the team that correspond to their goals
- Recruiting, training, developing, motivating and supervising 4Cs team to do high-quality work
- Managing workload and assignments of 4Cs members in order for them to be successful
- Supporting the team with clear direction and leadership in the execution of specific responsibilities and in cases of crisis or issues
- Understanding, educating, and holding staff accountable to organizational policies and procedures
- Developing an external and internal 4Cs PR strategy
- Preparing and meeting the team budget. Managing team salary based on Performance Appraisal approach
