Specialized knowledge

• Extended experience in implementing data processing and distributed computing systems, data streaming, Data Warehousing, reporting or analytics solutions
• Architecture principals: distributed computing, microservices, Lambda Architecture, etc.
• Experience with data modelling, ETL flows design
• Clouds: AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, any other MPP systems or NoSQL databases
• Industry certificates

• Driving Big Data Competence Group inside the company and represent company on external events
• Establishing and maintaining knowledge model for Big Data engineers (qualification standards and evaluation criteria), conduct tech interviews for candidates
• Developping and maintaining training programs and labs covering Big Data best practices, frameworks and technologies
• Executing mentorship program for Big Data engineers
• Maintaining Big Data projects registry and knowledge base company-wide
• Driving research of market trends, emerging Big Data approaches, frameworks and technologies
• Contribution to SS marketing programs by publishing tech articles, blogs in the media and create Case Studies based on delivered projects success stories

Consulting

• Involvement in consulting projects, such as technology assessment and evaluation; deliver discovery reports or technical solution vision etc. to the client
• Involvement into projects with possibility to learn new technologies and assimilate best practices

• Ensure company competitiveness in Big Data & Analytics domain worldwide and promote Big Data competence across the company and development community
