SecOps Specialist (ID 39597)

WE ARE

A team of Security Operations Specialists within SoftServe's IT department who is currently in need of one more team member. We are looking for a professional who will be investigating and analyzing information security events, responding on alerts from different systems which are in use as well as assisting in resolution of information security incidents.

YOU ARE

• The candidate possessing Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or other information technology-related field (Degree in Information Security is a plus)
• Aware of fundamental security concepts, such as policy, encryption, access controls, audit trails, and risk management
• The one who has SIEM (Splunk) user skills
• Possessing endpoint security management skills
• Having basic skills in SecOps tools (IDS (Suricata, Snort), Vulnerability scanners, Wireshark, etc.)
• Aware of Kali Linux, OWASP techniques, and penetration testing tools is a plus
• Exposing basic OS administrative skills (Windows, MacOS, Linux)
• Able to learn and be self-directed, work independently, and be dependable
• Good at both verbal and written communication
• Strong in analytical thinking
• A good English-speaker (pre-intermediate level or higher)

YOU WANT TO WORK WITH

• Windows server security administration and security infrastructure (e.g. firewalls, IDS/IPS, email security, antivirus/antimalware and other Defense-in-Depth technologies)
• Security information and event management
• Penetration testing
