Technical Communication Intern

Our company is looking for a smart technical communicator (if you are a technical writer, it is also an excellent fit) who is expected to be working in cross-functional teams or be involved in SoftServe own projects. Our job opening is ideal for people with a strong focus on experiencing and taking on new challenges, each day, being flexible enough to quickly understand and grasp the complexities and specifics of the IT processes, and, at the same time, to be ready to accept the allocated responsibilities with energy and dedication.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Create and update technical documentation, guides, instructions for a set of projects
• Help teams with the UI text review
• Create and manage help systems
• Develop and create diagrams, screenshots, and charts
• Develop videos and design infographics

Requirements: 

• English level - advanced or proficient
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Ability to plan, estimate, and manage own tasks
• Ready to learn new technologies
• Attention to details
• Flexibility and responsibility
• Ability to work in a team and individually

Nice to have: 

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
• Understanding and practice of working with authoring tools like Adobe Technical Communication Suite, MadCap Flare, Zendesk
• Experience of working in screen-capturing and video development tools
• Understanding of plain English guidelines and international writing standards (Microsoft, Apple, etc.)
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and XML
• Understanding of Agile (Scrum) methodology
