Senior DevOps Engineer

About Company: 

As part of the company, DevOps COE participate in different size of the projects and delivering cloud services. Help to onboard small or big challenging project in the delivery organization as part of the DevOps team and demonstrate the excellence of the DevOps COE group. Typical project engagement deviates from a couple of days to months to resolve different DevOps tasks, learn new technology and prototype solutions.

Example of different projects: 

• CI/CD setup using different toolsets
• Automation and scripting
• Establish proper reliable and resilient production environment. Building production; ready infrastructure on different cloud providers
• Cloud Migration
• Cloud Optimization
• Cloud or DevOps Assessment
• Assist Ops team with project onboarding
• Proofs of concept and prototyping using new technologies

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a result oriented, cloud experienced, communicative and self-managed Senior DevOps Engineer who will join our friendly and dynamic team and will help with various projects as well as continuous research and new technologies investigation

Technology Requirements:

The successful candidate will join the existing team of skilled DevOps minded engineers, not tied to specific projects, technologies, timelines. Therefore the technical requirements will cover the following: 

• Experience in programming using script languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
• Experience in at least one in each of the following areas:
• (As a plus) Docker containers orchestration: Kubernetes, AWS ECS, Swarm
• NoSQL Databases: ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Cassandra
• Programming using script languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
• Configuration management and orchestration: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM
• Monitoring: Zabbix, Nagios, NewRelic, DataDog, Pingdom, etc.
• CI/CD implementation tools: Jenkins, Bamboo, CircleCI, TravisCI
• Building applications: .NET, nodeJS, Java
• Deployment tools: Capistrano, AWS CodeDeploy, FTP,
• Understanding of automated test and code quality checks concepts
• Experience working with HighLoad systems with the uninterrupted continuous operation (24х7х365)
• Ability to learn from colleagues and share the experience
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google cloud platform
• Operations systems: Debian/Ubuntu, Centos, Amazon Linux, Windows 2012R2-2016
• Web servers (Nginx, Apache, IIS),
• SQL Databases (MySQL, MariaDB, MSSQL, etc.), mailing servers, etc.
