Senior Web UI (React) Software Engineer

Job Purpose:

We're seeking a Software Engineer who will be active in developing features and capabilities within the client's Identity Management product suite. We require a passionate developer who flourishes in a fast-moving, agile environment, has good communications skills, an outstanding ability to translate requirements and designs to functional JavaScript code, and strong attention to security, quality, testability, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Function as a solid individual contributor on a high output agile development team
• Collaborate effectively with the distributed team
• Analyze and elaborate on requirements
• Identify the impacts of planned work on existing functionality
• Plan and estimate work to be completed
• Design and develop new features, as well as maintain existing code
• Develop unit and integration tests in collaboration with software quality engineers
• Remain at the forefront of knowledge in the industry, and share learnings with other team members and with the company

Requirements:

• Strong experience with JavaScript, particularly React
• Experience writing clean and semantic HTML5 and CSS3
• Working knowledge of Redux - Working knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
• Knowledge of build tools (Grunt, Gulp)
• Knowledge of module bundlers (Webpack)
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors or modern CSS toolchains (PostCSS)

As a Plus:

• Experience with medium to large web development projects, working in a team that includes front and backend developers, product owners, QA testers, and UX/visual design specialists
