Community Development Specialist

Job Purpose:  

Community Development Specialist develops marketing strategies for public and internal professional community/-ies activities, public relations, social media presence. Community Development Specialist builds and supports internal/external communication through correct, timely and interesting messaging (text, video, audio, visual). Community Development Specialist arranges and supports activities from the initial stage of idea and format through implementation and post-summary.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Plan and implement events through full life-cycle, meet requirements, target audience and objectives
• Generate ideas and approaches to improve success/effectiveness of the activities conducted
• Calculate budgets and ensure adherence
•  Select and cooperate with vendors and suppliers
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain partnerships and alliances with speakers, proactive community members and networks
• Coordinate and Supervise all operations, vendors, etc.
• Promote community/-ies, activities, ideas, mission
• Ensure smooth event implementation and mitigate related risks, or ad hoc issues
• Prepare summary reports from events
• Develop strategies for content marketing campaigns and implementation of projects
• Align and comply with company policies, Cooperate with colleagues and other departments

Requirements: 

Education 

• Master degree in Marketing, Journalism, PR or related field

Specialized knowledge 

• English language level - Upper-Intermediate or higher
• Ukrainian language level - proficiency
