English Proofreader (Academic Sphere)

Hawk Research is a freelance educational platform. Our company is one of the most reliable companies in the field of knowledge exchange. It offers educational support services in various spheres and subjects to customers around the world. 

We are looking for motivated candidates to join our team and help us to elevate our services to an even higher level. The main role of the specialist includes reviewing the final drafts of writing assignments to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Your main tasks will include:

• Checking whether the completed orders comply to the requirements of the client;
• Providing feedback to writers with the explanation of the revealed issues;
• Communicating with writers in order to figure out the reasons for the missed requirements and to understand whether the writer is capable of making the necessary corrections;
• Checking the test results of the newly hired writers;
• Checking the drafts and outlines;
• Close cooperation with our Customer Support team.

Your required skills:

• Fluent English (C1-C2), outstanding grammar;
• Experience of reviewing and editing academic papers;
• Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to efficiently cooperate with colleagues;
• Ability to work fast, while keeping strong focus and attention to details;
• General computer fluency: web research, Google docs, etc.;
• Experience of communication in English with customers or partners’;
• Experience of cooperation with freelancers is a plus;
• Experience of working with some CRM systems.
