Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

To succeed in that we have established Cloud Innovation Services department, and now we are looking for passionate DevOps engineer to join our team.

Your primary role will be to help us to build DevOps processes for Azure Cloud and participate in building our own Cloud Operational platform.

We help Coop to build its IT infrastructure, which serves about 36,000 of Coop employees and about 2 million of Coop loyalty card holders. At the core of this infrastructure is high load Payment Platform that handles tens of millions of payments per year, and modern E-money banking software.

We work primarily with Azure DevOps services and try to use best practices and newest technology like Containers, Docker, Kubernetes to meet the requirements from the business.

We work:

• In small agile cross-functional teams with dedicated Product Owner
• In close collaboration with QA and Development engineers
• We align the vision of our goals by conducting joint workshops every couple of months
• All team members have several trips to Copenhagen per year

We use:

• .NET and Cloud (Azure)
• Service Oriented Architecture
• Most cutting edge tech stack, tools, and practices

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and development DevOps solutions, research, code review and evaluation of technical decisions of your peer team member
• Discussing and refining requirements, close work with your teammates and Product Owner
• Reviewing existing projects and proposing new ideas/solutions
• Other creative and organisational activities like conducting workshops, knowledge sharing sessions, presentations, etc.

QUALIFICATION

• 3+ years of experience as DevOps Engineer
• At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Azure (PaaS services)
• Knowledge how Containers, Docker, Kubernetes works
• Hands-on experience with Powershell
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD practices
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience with monitoring technologies. Preferably: AppInsights, Azure Monitor, Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience building infrastructure as a code projects
• Strong communication skills. We value you ability to engage with other teams and helps other projects on they way to DevOps practices
• Ability to work in a team as well as on your own
• Good written and spoken English level
