QA automation engineer
- Project Description:Our client, Microfocus Fortify is the industry-leading provider of Application Security solutions that empower organizations to develop secure software. Over 80% of security breaches exploit application vulnerabilities, and at Fortify, you will be at the forefront of one of the fastest growing segments in the security market. You will work with bright, motivated teammates to implement solutions to some of the toughest code analysis problems in the industry. We develop complex algorithms to scan the code of over 20 different programming languages. Functional testing of these tools requires code development skills to craft sample code that exhibits particular qualities and classes of behavior. You will learn all about Application Security and become an expert in this field. Daily activities include new tests development, automation improvements, security reports analysis. Our team is using agile methodologies and techniques. - Responsibilities:Testing of Static code analysis tools Test design and test plans creation (Security testing area) Investigation new technologies and write vulnerable code for testing purposes Increase automation testing coverage Installation, configuring and administration of test environment (Windows, Linux, MacOS and other)
- Mandatory Skills:Programming experience in at least one of these languages: JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, Ruby Testing and test automation experience Linux and Windows experience Strong communication and analytic skills Excellent written and spoken English
- Nice-to-Have Skills:Background in compilers Background in static code analysis Familiarity with agile development methodologies
