PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Developed product is the leading software system in Energy domain covering all aspects of Oil&Gas production from geological exploration to optimization of ongoing production. Our technology solution helps geologists and geophysicists to research, visualize and interpret large volumes of geological data.

Our project is stable, long-term and constantly adopts new technologies such as Cloud and GPU computing, microservices architecture, CUDA, Spark, Hadoop and other innovative frameworks.

Work supposes close cooperation with Customer team located in Houston and following Agile principles.

Our team is senior, supportive and friendly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in development activities for new architecture implementation: 3D graphics, distributed calculations, microservices and other cutting-edge technologies and approaches.

This position also involves research tasks: analyzing technical approaches, finding optimal solutions from the performance perspective.

Along with these tasks you will be supposed to take care of unit tests coverage, fixing defects.

SKILLS

MUST

Required:

• Strong Computer Graphics background.
• Knowledge of OpenGL fundamentals.
• Proven knowledge and experience of C#/.Net or Java technology stack are desirable (candidate may have primary experience in other OOP language).
• Upper-Intermediate English

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Apache Spark and Hadoop frameworks.
• Knowledge of GPU computing (CUDA, OpenCL)
• Experience with web 3D graphics (WebGL)
