Junior/Middle PHP/Symfony Developer, Office or Remote

We’re looking for a skilled PHP/Symfony Developer to join a friendly team who are developing a language learning platform. With over 8 years on the market, the product grew into a highly successful platform and our team size increased from one Web developer to three groups for each platform: Web, iOS, Android. 

The project does not stand still, we’re constantly introducing various practices and technologies. For instance, on the web side we switched to Symfony (https://symfony.com/doc/current/create_framework/index.html) and React.

Modern technology stacks and non-trivial tasks will not let you feel bored. The amount of work increases and we want to strengthen the Web development team.

Every two weeks we release new product versions. We focus both on new features and code refactoring. 

 Requirements:

• Professional experience in hands-on software development PHP, MySQL, HTML + CSS;
• Experience working with Symfony 3-5;
• Experience in Unit-tests development;
• OOP and patterns, SOLID, REST;
• Git skills.

Will be a plus: 

• Experience with Twig;
• Experience with React, Dust.js; 
• Experience with PhpSpec;
• Working experience with various API’s (e.g. YouTube, Algolia);
• Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery;
• Experience as a member of an Agile team;
• Knowledge of Bootstrap framework;
• Knowledge of JavaScript (ES5 / ES6);
• Knowledge of Docker;
• Knowledge and experience with AWS services (Amazon Web Services);
• Knowledge of A/B testing principles.
