In Levi9 Kyiv we are looking DevOps Engineer for our Dutch Client
Requirements:
Linux system architecture knowledge
Network stack, loadbalancers, DMZ, DNS knowledge
Clouds: Azure, AWS (Azure is preferable)
Good knowledge of HTTP protocol as must (description, consistence, types of requests, error codes, security etc.)
Proxying concepts, proxy types, proxyes usage
Git (concept understanding, knowledge command-line tricks), Gitlab as a plus
Terraform: ability to write modules and describe infrastructures
Ansible: ability to write playbooks
Knowledge of Java based apps: Cassandra, Zookeeper, Postgresql, Jms, Qpid
Understanding and ability to enroll/debug a ELK stack
Understanding of business processes such as Agile and Scrum
English - Upper-Intermediate
Responsibilities:
On-call (one week per 1,5 month) - carrying the phone and being ready to react on alert
Troubleshooting production incidences (required wide strong skills)
Developing/Deploying Api Proxies
Provisioning/maintenance cloud infrastructure
Provisioning/maintenance distributed systems in the clouds
Writing documentation

Project description:
Our client is a Dutch company that produces traffic, navigation and mapping products all over the world. They are expanding with the new remote team in Kiev, that will be responsible for service up-time and operations of our cloud-based API management system. The experience and future opportunities will include managing service up-time in the test and production environments for our API management serving platform offering services to millions of users around the world. Solving service issues and problems structurally, discussions with developers to ensure the services they envision are stable for the real world deployment.
