Senior analyst in the field of entrepreneurship and export

The EU-funded Project “EU4Business: SME Policies and Institutions Support in Ukraine” (SMEPIS)” is aimed at ensuring sustainable and equitable wartime/post-war economic recovery of Ukraine through streamlined SME-friendly policy and regulatory frameworks and more resilient business support ecosystems.

The SMEPIS Project is looking for a qualified Senior analyst in the field of entrepreneurship and export, who is expected to be intensively engaged (full day) with the State Institution “Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office” until mid-July 2025. 

The expert is required to carry out the following activities:

• Developing research of  foreign markets, selecting priority markets for Ukrainian exporters; overview of foreign market requirements for EEPO beneficiaries;
• Creating analytical products and presenting foreign market research to EEPO beneficiaries; 
• Contributing business surveys, researching on economic and export development in Ukraine;
• Facilitating information updates on the Diia.Business web portals on Ukrainian economy and foreign markets;
• Coordinating activities with partners on joint research of Ukrainian economy and foreign markets; 
• Participating in EEPO team meetings and training as needed.

Qualifications and skills

• Degree in international relations, economics, foreign trade, or another related field
• At least 7 years of professional experience in export promotion, economic development or SMEs support; Experience in export promotion in multiple sectors is an asset
• Strong analytical, management, and communication skills
• Experience in project and team management
• Experience with Power BI\Tableau, Python  is an asset
• PC literacy (PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Word)
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English.
