Associate | Gaming Desk

Sayenko Kharenko is looking for an ambitious associate to join our dedicated Gaming Desk. Gaming Desk is an industry-specialised team working in the newest industry in Ukraine. 

What will you do:

• Conduct legal research, support your conclusions, and incorporate them into the final product
• Structure investment deals
• Assist with establishing joint ventures and closing M&A deals
• Draft English-law governed instruments under supervision of a solicitor qualified in England and Wales
• Advise clients on regulatory environment 
• Propose ideas for and draft instruments to be voted into law or to become subsidiary legislation
• Meet with clients and take part in our business development / promotional activities
• Grow your skills and expertise in the industry that goes to the Moon despite lockdowns and viruses

Requirements:

• Degree in law
• 2+ years of experience with corporate law, M&A, gaming, and/or compliance 
• Desire to understand the business of a legal firm and keen interest in businesses of our clients
• Ability to catch new skills and knowledge on the go
• Professional fluency in oral and written English, Ukrainian and Russian
• Proactive attitude to work: we do appreciate your ambitions and enthusiastic attitude
