Business Data Analyst

Kyivstar is looking for Business Data Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Collection of business requirements (collaborate proactively with business stakeholders, project manager, and teams to reach a common understanding of the solution. Manage requirements communication of the project’s specific`s and stakeholders' preferences);
• Ability to create clear and concise requirements documentation (in English, diagrams: UML, BPMN);
• Analysis of business requirements, development of the project documentation: Functional requirements, Integration points, ETL, Data analysis and development of requirements for building data aggregates;
• To arrange appointments with technical experts to discuss design of the proposed solution;
• Define quality attributes (non-functional requirements) including external interfaces and constraints
• Testing and monitoring third-party integrations, using a host of internal tools: Postman (API testing), and Grafana/Kibana (logs).

Requirements:

• Education: Higher marketing, technical or financial specialization;
• 2+ years of experience as a business analyst.

Knowledge and skills:

• Understands REST API principles, can read API documentation and JSONs/XMLs (is comfortable reviewing API responses for missing information, logical errors, etc.);
• Oracle Database Experience and strong SQL Knowledge;
• Prior experience working on complex B2B/enterprise/SaaS software;
• Strong understanding of SDLC, UML, BPMN, BPMN, etc.;
• Understanding the concept (architecture) of DWH class systems;
• Ready to deal with complex and fuzzy projects;
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills (self-presentation, building relationships with the client, team, problem solving, and critical thinking skills);
• API testing (Postman, SoapUI), test cases writing;
• Knowledge of requirements management tools (at least JIRA & Confluence);
• Keen with documentation management.

Will be advantage:

• Open API principles knowledge;
• Work experience with NoSQL databases (Mongo DB, Cassandra etc.);
• Experience in telecom;
• Experience in Machine Learning, AI and Big Data technologies;
• Technical background (QA/dev/admin role, etc.).

Additional requirements for language skills:

• Level of English — Intermediate (all presentations and reports are in English).
