DevOps Engineer

We are looking for DevOps Engineer to join Kyivstar's Product Development Team. You will join the in-house development team, whose main responsibility is building Kyivstar's new products. The role has all the advantages of working in a product team - versatile projects, plenty of independence, chance to influence the direction of the development and opportunity to grow with the role.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in IT Operations or Systems Engineering;
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles;
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle;
• Understanding of modern web and mobile application technologies;
• Source code management tools (Git);
• Configuring CI/CD pipeline (TFS/Azure DevOps);
• Containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes);
• Configuration management (Ansible/Chef/Puppet);
• Web servers (IIS/Nginx/Apache);
• Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK);
• Strong system administration of Linux OSes;
• Scripting and software development skills (bash);
• Understanding of basic network services and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SSH).

As a plus:

• Understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban);
• Experience with highload systems;
• Cloud services (AWS / Azure / VMWare);
• Experience with managing and operation of database systems (MS SQL/Oracle or other);
• Any experience with programming (.NET, Java)
