QA Engineer

Kharkiv Office of a fast-growing internet marketing agency located in Boston, USA, is currently looking for a QA Test Engineer to join their hard-working team.

A successful candidate will be responsible for helping the company to launch and manage various software products, as well as improve and optimize internal business processes associated with Quality Assurance. 

Responsibilities:

• Full cycle testing (functional, acceptance, regression, etc. tests)
• Designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions
• Clarification and discussion of Customer’s business needs and goals
• Requirements analysis and clarification, discussion and processing
• Planning and estimating of testing activities
• Creating and maintaining test documentation
• Test results analysis and reporting
• Gradual implementation of testing automation tools for QA processes
• Effective collaboration with team members to achieve the best results 

Requirements:

• Highly experienced in manual software testing
• Strong understanding of web-based application concepts
• Basic understanding of SQL
• Experienced with GitHub and familiar with Gitflow
• Excellence in test artifacts creation (cases, scenarios, checklists, mind maps, etc.)
• At least an intermediate level of technical reading/writing in English 

Highly Desired (but not required):

• Basic usage of Docker and Linux console
• Experience and ability to write acceptance tests using Selenium
• Experience with Selenide Framework
• 1+ years of experience in QA automation
• Experience with TestRail
• Basic PHP knowledge
• Understanding of Continuous Integration principles
• Experience leading QA Teams and coordinating activities

• - Working hours: aligned with the U.S. Holidays and working hours from 11.00-20.00, or from 14.30-23.00 (Ukrainian time) incl. 1 hr. break
